Top 3 Ways to Prepare for Deer Hunting Season

If you’re a huntsman in Louisiana, you know that it’s almost time for deer hunting season to start! This year the first day of hunting season starts on September 15th, if your method of choice is archery, but if you prefer to hunt with a firearm, like the ever-popular bolt action rifle, your hunting season begins October 9th. While waiting for the best time to deer hunt to arrive, every hunter out there has most likely been surveying the land, planning their trip, and gathering ammunition for a couple of months now, but only the savvy and seasoned deer hunter has also been prepping his hunting site. Having deer blind plans in place is super important, especially when it comes to ensuring the land surrounding your deer stand is optimal for hunting and keeping quiet while you do it. While the quality and magnitude of your weapons is a very important factor during the hunt, the condition of your deer hunting camp is just as, if not more, important. Properly crafted and kept deer food plots are vital as well. Lucky for you, we've put together the top three ways you can prepare your hunting land that will make 2021 the best hunting season ever!

Kubota Unveils Prototype Electric “Tractor of the Future”

When you think of "sustainable agriculture," you might think of organic fertilizers, permaculture techniques, or biodiesel engines. The Kubota Corporation, widely known for their high-quality farming and construction machinery, are developing another option that's poised to change the future face of farming: the electric tractor engine. In January of this year, Kubota unveiled prototypes of an electric tractor and compact construction machinery that they're developing in Kyoto, Japan. Later this year, they'll start testing the machines' efficacy in the fields of France, and after that, the rest of Europe. As soon as they enter the US market, you can be sure the folks here at Evergreen Tractor will have them available for your farm.Diesel has been the name of the game for a long time with farm and construction work, but electric motors have been getting more and more powerful, alongside their well-known efficiency gains. Electric equipment is also quieter than diesel- or gas-powered motors, which will enable more work to be done in more crowded areas and with less protective gear. Both prototypes that were unveiled in Kyoto are powered by lithium-ion battery technology, and are equivalent to their diesel counterparts in terms of maximum output. In a few short years, you'll find it easier than ever to perform weeding in parks, construction work requiring low emission control and low noise output, or general construction, transportation, or fertilizer work.
